A Country Garden Reimagined

Set within the grounds of a former country pub, this expansive garden has been thoughtfully transformed, bringing structure, elegance and a renewed connection between house and landscape.

The design introduces a sequence of garden rooms, linked by paths through meadow and grass, with sculptural feature trees, naturalistic planting and carefully placed focal points. Stone walls provide striking backdrops to a bespoke outdoor kitchen, complete with a sink hewn from a natural boulder. A winding stream, once dividing the garden, becomes an integral feature of the landscape, connected by an oak bridge and softened by waterside planting. Beyond, the meadow has been reimagined with a striking sauna, orchard and meandering paths.

Closer to the house, considered planting and carefully selected materials complement the architecture, while intimate garden spaces offer places to sit, gather and enjoy the changing seasons. The result is a landscape that feels both generous and immersive: a harmonious balance of openness, structure and natural beauty.
